FAQs:
How do I order 5FINITY products?
*** E-mail me to be placed on our distribution list. Certain products will be sold out and only available through retail channels. Unlike other companies that have a minimum order, we actually place a cap on our products so as many folks can get them. We sell direct to collectors at wholesale, as well as the dealers. With these collector-friendly systems in place, we continually sell out of our products quickly.
What is a Platinum Partner?
*** Our Platinum Partners are dealers who order all of our products and donate heavily to our charities of choice, March of Dimes (2010) and The Hero Initiative (2011). These dealers will get the opportunity to offer exclusive products such as sketch cards and variant comic covers.
What else does 5FINITY offer?
*** We produce comic books, such as the best-selling Zombies vs Cheerleaders (Moonstone). Look for other comic projects from us in 2011. We also released the first ever art book on Voltron called Voltron: United and Drawn, which hit stores in early 2011.
Why is your website always outdated?
*** Because we keep our blog and Deviant Art pages updated. This website is mostly for artist numbers and samples of previously released sketch card releases. We do not post those for several weeks after the product is released.
Do you accept submissions?
*** We are having a difficult time taking on new artists due to our limited run of product and the continued high interest from our current artist pool.
What about all of these other companies emulating, and sometimes blatantly ripping off, your ideas?
*** We love them all. The more choices for the collector, the better.
How much money has 5FINITY raised for March of Dimes?
*** As of the end of 2010, we have raised over $60,000 to March of Dimes, unparallaled in the trading card industry.
What is the deal with the sketch cards not released in packs?
*** Sometimes we produce sketch cards that go to collectors and dealers as incentives to order specific comics or books. Zombies vs Cheerleaders #1 Edition, Zombies vs Cheerleaders Geektacular #1 Edition, Honey West, and The Spider/Domino Lady are examples of this. These are usually small runs, between 200 and 400 cards.
Do you produce non-sketch cards?
*** Only as promo cards for conventions and dealers. We will always be about one sketch card per pack, the platform we developed and thrive to perfect.
What is the deal with the holiday sketch cards?
*** Every year in December we give away original holiday themed sketch cards to our biggest supporters. In 2009 the artist was Kathleen Webb and in 2010 the artist was Amber Stone. These cards are very limited; Kathleen only did 25 and Amber did 50.
What is the Creator's Line?
*** We will occasionally release ultra limited sketch cards spotlighting some of our most popular artist collaborators. In 2010 we featured Dean Yeagle. Each of these releases is limited to fifty cards.
